Established in 1999 by Ana Graham, Arturo Ríos and Tania Ruiz, Por Piedad Teatro aims to present in Mexico the brightest voices of contemporary play-writing in high quality, innovative and risk-taking productions.
In 2010, Ana Graham and Antonio Vega founded Por Piedad Teatro Foundation in New York City, a non-profit organization focused on creating a bridge between Mexico and the United States, to promote dialogue, exchange of ideas and the creation of artistic opportunities for the theater community of both countries.
